Our insurance cover under the Contract and Commercial Act 2017 is not comprehensive and is limited to loss or damage that is intentionally caused by us while your items are in transit. Your items are carried at your risk. We will not pay any compensation if they are accidentally lost or damaged. We strongly recommend that you obtain insurance cover for your items. By booking in this job you agree to our Terms and Conditions and regarding our Insurance Policy. These goods are to be carried at owner's risk. This means that the carrier will pay no compensation if the goods are lost or damaged unless the carrier intentionally loses or damages them. So there is no confusion: Whilst we do carry Carriers Liability Insurance, the cover that applies is in compliance with the "Carriage of Goods Act" this cover is for "us" for "our" protection and we will need to be "liable" for the damage or Loss. We do not insure your goods, but our Liability, if we are found to be Liable. Please refer to "Carriage of Goods Act" via google as this explains the limits that apply in accordance with the act.
